Are you an experienced Power Plant I & E Technician who thrives on challenges and is always ready to push the boundaries? We are seeking a dedicated, dynamic, and highly skilled individual to join our team.
The Permanent Power Plant I & E Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our power plant facilities.
The successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of tasks, from cold and hot commissioning to implementing Lockout Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, technologically advanced environment where your work will make a significant impact.
Responsibilities:
Perform cold and hot commissioning of power plant equipment to ensure they are operational and meet safety standards.
Implement and manage Lockout Tagout (LOTO) procedures to ensure the safety of all personnel during maintenance and repair operations.
Carry out regular power plant maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting and repairing instrumentation and control systems.
Monitor and adjust the operations of the power plant to meet production and efficiency targets.
Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to address any technical issues or improvements in the power plant.
Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, and actively contribute to a culture of safety within the team.
Document all maintenance and repair activities, and report any significant issues to the management team.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Power Plant Technician, preferably in the Technology industry.
Proven experience in cold commissioning, hot commissioning, and Lockout Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Solid understanding of power plant operations, including gas plant instrumentation and controls.
Strong technical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex control systems.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
Commitment to adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development.
A relevant technical degree or certification would be an advantage.
