This is a permanent position that offers an incredible opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in the Engineering industry.
The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for developing and improving manufacturing processes in our medical device manufacturing division.
This role requires a deep understanding of LEAN Manufacturing, ISO quality, geometric tolerance, and project management.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:
1.
Designing, developing, and enhancing manufacturing processes for medical devices using principles of LEAN Manufacturing.
2.
Ensuring compliance with ISO quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
3.
Utilizing geometric tolerance techniques to optimize product design and performance.
4.
Leading and managing complex projects from concept to completion using project management principles and tools such as Microsoft Project.
5.
Providing technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and manufacturing personnel.
6.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues.
7.
Developing and implementing CNC programs for machining and grinding operations.
8.
Utilizing E2 manufacturing software to optimize production schedules, inventory management, and quality control.
9.
Continually identifying opportunities for process and product improvements and implementing changes as necessary.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must possess the following:
1.
A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
2.
A minimum of 3 years' experience in a manufacturing engineering role, within the medical device industry.
3.
CNC Programming Experience.
4.
Ability to develop processes around manufacturing.
5.
Strong prioritization.
6.
Proficiency in SolidWorks7.
Proficiency in LEAN Manufacturing principles and ISO quality standards.
8.
Hands on leader- proven experience working on the floor.
9.
Strong understanding of geometric tolerance techniques.
10.
Proven experience in project management, with proficiency in Microsoft Project.
11.
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
12.
Experience with E2 manufacturing.
